Damsel in a Dress; Writer in Disguise
Sorry I haven't been keeping up to date lately! I'm absolutely swamped with school work, and I'm dreadfully behind on reading. It certainly doesn't help that I'm distracted by other goings on, but I digress. So, this week, I selected two outfits that I particularly liked this week.
The first is my (new) sheer top from 2B, which I was able to order through Amazon. With it I matched up my black cord pants and combat boots. I wore a bandeau underneath, mine being the "Lavish Layering Padded Bandeau in Rose" from Modcloth. The shirt isn't as sheer as expected, but it is quite comfortable, and very flattering. I bought it because I used to own the "Flowering Fantasy Top", but it recently got destroyed in the wash (remember kids: if it says "Dry Clean Only", either handwash it or don't stick it in the wash with several bras). It was really upsetting, but I couldn't find it again, so the Colorblock Shirt from 2B seemed like the next option: and what a good option it was!
The other outfit was just a quicky I threw on the other day. Dresses end up being my first and last resort, because they're always easy to throw on with a pair of tights if I'm rushing in the morning. This particular outfit was one I ended up wearing before hanging out with someone (stay tuned on that). It's the "Printed Floral Lace Bow-Back Dress" from Delia's. I love their clothes, they're always adorable and fit me perfectly! This is my second open-back dress from them, and I'm just as pleased because it's comfortable and sweet looking. I can't wait to wear it in the spring with my oxfords!
No other news just yet. I shall keep you guys updated best as I can. It's times like these I honestly wish I had a laptop, because at least then I could do all of this at work!

Man, was this week crazy! Moving back in didn't even seem like the hardest part... I got back to school safely, and I started classes this week. This semester, I'm taking Lit Analysis, Poetry, Intro to Evolution, Comparative Politics, and Shakespeare. My professors (for the most part) are fantastic, and most of my work thus far is reading, which isn't so bad.
It's also been pretty cold out this week. These last two days have been the worst, in particular, but the awful part about it is it's just cold and windy, and there's not a snowflake to be found. Sad, really, I love the snow, but I hate the cold without it.
Anyway, one of my favorite outfits this week was my first day of school one. They didn't have a better picture, but I wore black leggings that had little, charcoal-colored skulls on them. I've had them forever, and I just recently started wearing them a lot this year (mostly because they're comfortable, and kind of cute). In other news, my modcloth dress came in! I'll probably be wearing it to the fun. concert tonight, which I will try my best to post a picture of it later on! Carry On everybody!

Hello comrades! So quite a bit has happened lately. Since our last update, Modcloth had their "Year of Dresses" contest, and I decided to enter sort of last minute. Long story short, I happened to be one of three winners, and get a free dress from them every month for the next year! I'm ecstatic, and my first dress is en route as we speak!
I'm also heading back to school this week. Moving is so stressful, I honestly wish I'd left more of my stuff at school, because re-packing has been such a pain! I'm not fully done yet, but it's small things, so I'm not really pulling my hair out anymore. I'm excited for this semester, I have a lot of really awesome classes lined up, including a lot of my mandatory classes for my major. It's all very exciting!
I decided to start a fashion blog on tumblr as well, which I will link on my profile and below! I'm feeling a lot of denim this winter, as well as oversized sweaters. I also recently bought a fedora, which has been matched surprisingly well with my outfits. Oh, and I replaced my combat boots, so no more holy shoes! Hurray!
